Is it wrong I don't entertain kids all the time?? Is it wrong that I teach them how to entertain them selfs at a certain age??

Now don't get me wrong, I do things with the kids. I color, play bored games, play tic tax toe, I spy. They will help me cook, and clean. And other stuff. I just don't entertain them all day long. Once my niece and nephew got to a certain age, I taught them to entertain them selfs. Ether by them self are with other kids.

My husband daughter has to be entertain all the time.... all day long!! Unless she is playing on a phone our tablet. I've been trying to entertain her all day. She hates it when I tell her to entertain her self, that she can play by her self.

She work up at 4:30 this morning.... if mine did that I would of told them to get back to bed. He let her play on his phone, she started to mess so I just got up. She help me make breakfast and we played bored game after bored game. She made lunch with me. We painted. We made homemade cookies. We painted and did more crafts. Well after that I tried to get her to play by her self and to entertain her self for a while.

Nope.. she then asked me to play killer... what.. she had a fake knife and all.. I told her no. We played some innocent games. But now I'm just tired.. I can't do anymore entertaining today...

My niece and nephew are with my mom this weekend so she don't have them to play with but even if they was here. She would still need to be entertain all the time.

Don't get me wrong, today was good and I enjoy spending time with her. But I can and will not entertain kids all day long.

I believe that it's important for kids to know how to play and entertain them self.
