Mid November I started dating this guy. I’ve known him for 3 years, but never had an interest in him until we hung out spontaneously a few times. We go to the same school, both are studying social work, and both are graduating in May.

I am his first serious relationship. We both are serious about getting our lives together and eventually moving up north. We want similar things and share similar, if not the same, life goals.

We’ll have only been together for 4 months on March 14th.

I think it to be crazy, but my 4 other roommates and a handful of our social work cohort agree that *we love each other.*

Having been in a long term relationship I believe I know what love feels like, and I do feel it for him... but it doesn’t make it any less scary to admit it.

I haven’t said it yet. But he treats me so well. He just stares me in the eyes for minutes at a time smiling. He kisses my head when I sleep and when I wake up he tells me I’m beautiful. Even when I eat he tells me I’m cute haha (I’m not lmao). He loves listening to what I have to say. We have deep conversations on a regular basis. We love traveling and trying new things. Everything feels so easy with him. It’s still early on, I know. The honeymoon stage has definitely ended haha. We’ve fought already but even the way we handle our fights feels good and healthy, and we feel closer after it all. We help each other grow. I really like this man.
