Water breaking question

Ok ladies this question may seem really stupid and silly but I just had to ask. I know that water breaking can be a huge gush of fluid that can occur in any random time and location. How do you prepare for this? Do you wear an adult diaper around the time of expected delivery? What have you done for this in the past if you've been through this before or what do you plan to do if you are a first time mom.  Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks!
