Yesterday we found out that we have little to no chance of getting pregnant naturally. Even worse, the chances of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> being successful are so low that the DR doesn’t want to waste our money. So that was heartbreaking.

Then he tells us, because my uterus isn’t any part of the issue, we can test me this month to see if I am a candidate for embryo adoption. If you don’t know, they would put in a fertilized egg that was donated from another couple that no longer needed their “extra” embryos after their own successful <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a>. It’s about half the price of normal <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a> for me because all the cost of retrieving the egg/sperm fertilizing testing and storing have already been completed.

I can have our baby (or babies if I’m lucky) grow in my womb, bond with me, and eventually breastfeed. I thought- how amazing. This life that may not have happened still can, and we can be parents. And- we can select someone of same race, and similar physical attributes as us.

My husband is still getting used to the idea, but I’m so excited. I wish more people talked about this. I pray I’m a good candidate. The success rate is way higher and more affordable.
