She threw a baby shower for me in Michigan and didn't have me fly out there for it. That's ok, she had everyone get me gift cards. Now she won't send the gift cards to me because she wants to go shopping with me when she comes out for the birth. We just moved halfway across the country and are very low on funds. I have no baby stuff yet. I don't want to go buy a bunch of baby stuff AFTER baby is born especially after I just squeezed out a baby! She just wants to dictate what I buy for the baby. My husband told her she can not hold the gift cards hostage. She still has not sent hem 2 weeks later. I'm ready to tell her to just not even come visit because she is being selfish. She does his kind of stuff allllll of the time. She offered to pay for certain things in our wedding but wouldn't let me make any decisions about it since she was paying. She seems like she has good intentions and then ruins it by acting like this. I'm so frustrated
