When does the 2nd trimester end?

I'm getting conflicting info is it 12 weeks or 13 weeks that marks the end of the 1st trimester and beginning of the 2nd x

14 weeks is the beginning of the second trimester. 13 weeks 6 days is the last day of the first trimester. At least that is what my Dr goes by.

Some still say 12 weeks but mathematically it's 13-14 weeks if Pregnancy is 40 weeks. If you think pregnancy is 42weeks its 14 weeks. Depends on what research your doctor has read.
