Is it okay to leave plaque on a tongue web piercing?

There’s a little plaque on both balls but I can’t get it off with a Qtip or toothbrush or my nails.  Is it okay to leave a little until it heals? I feel like me messing with it irritates it more than the plaque

Try gargling w salt water to kind of flush it out , try to keep the water on the affected area when you do so . Other than that you might have to wait until it heals . It shouldn’t be long tho bc mouth piercings typically heal quicker than normal ones
