99 Names of Allah

Salaam ladies

I am looking for a bit of advice. I’m currently trying to work on my relationship with Allah SWT and strengthen my imaan. I’ve let things slide a bit since becoming a mum and I really want to improve my acts of worship.

I’ve always been aware of the 99 Names of Allah but, beyond the first few which we commonly recite, I know none really. I’d like to change this and begin not only memorising them, but researching their meanings and any additional information.

So I have two questions really.

Do you use the names in any specific application? Repeating as dhikr, as part of du’as etc?

And can anyone recommended sources for finding out more about each name besides the simple translation?
