I am a very level headed non stressful person, but as my husband and I are ttc I am getting very stressed out about weather he will really love and have interest in the family we are planning. This is both our first marriage, I'm 32 he's 40. He had my stepdaughter when he was 21 with a then girlfriend.

He says that he feels like he finally had it all, but all i can think about is; will he be happy when we have kids? Will he love our children like he loves his daughter? Or will he neglect any new kids moving forward because he's done it all with her?

I think my thoughts are normal, but I'm stressing. Can we really have it all after he has done it once before???? Will our children be an after thought to him? Every one can't wait until we have kids, but now I'm scared. Reading online makes me feel like after your first kid the next dont matter that much. Is this ture? I always thought that once you make them you have love for all!
