how long before im feeling more able?

ok so day 3 since my c section and gotta be honest im struggling with being so unable.. i did too much yesterday and ended up not only in pain and discomfort big time but with rather swollan legs and feet .. how long till i start to feel a bit more human and less like i have been chopped into half and stuck back together with stickytape?? finding the difficulty moving and walking very hard mentally as im kind of a control freak and like to get all my shit done plus three other kiddies to care for its none stop jobs n chores!! help please  😧🙈xx

I felt better about 3 weeks later. Take it slow.

By the two week mark you will feel wayyyy more human! Even at a week honestly, but just listen to your body and rest or you will take even longer to heal. Remind yourself of that.

It was a full week until I felt like I was able to do normal things again. Take it easy ! Enjoy letting someone else take care of you for a few more days!

The swelling is totally normal, that is from the IV.  Mine actually got worse day 5,6,7 then finally started calming down.  Pain wise I was off my meds by a week and feeling much better.  Just don’t go trying to run any marathons😜, take it slow and get some rest when you can, make your partner take baby duty!

thank you both  think i just forgot that this is no easy feat you gotta start slow n take the good moment and bad and deal wit it best u can i find being out of mummy control very unsettling emotionally its hard lately x
