If it’s sex with your padtner you want to act on, be sure and ask how they feel. Some partners don’t feel comfortable with sex during your period and that’s okay! My husband doesn’t mind if we do it in the shower so clean up is easy. Finding ways you are both comfortable is key. 
If you are wanting to act on your own, you could always find “clean” ways to do it, like running your clit under the bath water helps get you off and you don’t have to
Touch or clean anything. Get creative. If you want it, go for it!!

I’m super weirded out by the idea of period sex. And my SO is not. It kinda just depends on what you’re okay with personally.
