Does the Menstrual Cycle Workout Routine Works!

I found this video two days ago that suggests that women should center our workout and even diet around our menstrual cycle. I thought this was cool and Im willing to try it. (Period started today so Day 1 of this routine changer).

I wanted to know: if anyone seen and tried this before and if so how did you like it? Did it actually work or a waste of time?
