Is my labor closer than I think?

Hello, FTM here. I am 34w and 3d. Today I went to the restroom and noticed a milky discharge on my underwear. (TMI-Sorry) I was wondering if any other moms remember having this happen and if so, does that mean labor is approaching quick? I'm having a baby shower on the 27th and I'm just hoping I can just make it till that day. :)

I started getting that really thick white  discharge around that time, my doctor says in the 3rd trimester is just gets thicker like that unfortunately it's not necessarily an indication on labor or when it will start...

It's called leukorrhea and it's very normal. I've had it with every pregnancy including this one 😊

Well I had to have steroids at 33 weeks in case she came before 37 weeks. So only repeating what I was told by my doc. Not saying there WILL be a problem, just that it's more likely the earlier they are born.

You really don't want your baby coming earlier than 37 weeks. They would be classed as premature and might have breathing problems/spend some time in NICU.

I am having to have a c section this Tuesday due to a small and breech baby. I've still had to have steroids as I will only be 38 + 1.

Please don't wish for your baby to be any earlier than they are ready!!
