My baby girl is only 5 days old and i already have a horrible pain in both nipples when she nurses. One of them has a blood blister or so i think is a blood blister...i have been using a nipple shield to help...but now she has trouble latching on without it. I dont want her to be dependent on it though. And my breasts were getting so engorged so i decided to start pumping as well...but part of me feels bad for thinking about introducing a bottle to her this young. I just feel so guilty about every little choice i try to make. And im nervous about properly storing breast milk and even reheating it...i just over analyze everything and want my baby to be happy and healthy. Shes only 5.9lbs and i am praying she puts on some weight by her next apt monday... ahhhh breastfeeding is so stressful i want to just throw my hands up and scream. Anyone else struggling?
