So i had my 38th week appointment with my midwife and discussed about pain relief.

Though I let her know I'm wanting a drug/medication free labour & birth for personal reasons, i've been questioned & told "are you sure about that? you're probably going to end up wanting epidural because it'll be a painful experience. most of our patients end up begging for it."

Sigh 😔 i'm aware it won't be painless, but dang, way to put a damper on my mood 😓

Just needed to vent.
