Gush of water during sex?

Me and my SO was having sex a couple nights ago, I was on top and we were going pretty rough. Well out of no where there was this huge gush of water or liquid or something. It WAS NOT pee. I know what peeing feels like, and it wasn't that. Idk what it was. At first I thought it was my water breaking (I'm 37 weeks pregnant tomorrow) but I haven't had any contractions since then or any other leakage so I'm assuming it wasn't that. Any ideas on what it could be?

You and your baby can get a serious life threatening infection if your water broke and you don't give birth within a certain amount of time, you need to get checked right now

You need to be checked ASAP like L & D ASAP.. you don't have to have contractions for your water to break. You and your baby could get a bad infection if your water did break.

Just because you haven't had contractions doesn't mean it wasn't your water. I would call your physician right away.

I agree with the other ladies. You could have a tear in your bag of water and sometimes when that happens the baby's head will cover the hole and you'll only leak a bit here and there. You could jarred it and caused leakage. You need to be checked. You and baby could become seriously ill if your water broke and you wait too long...especially if you've been having sex.

Thank you everyone! I just checked on here to see what was commented so I'm going to call right away and ask my doctor what it could be and if I should go into L&D. My baby has been moving regularly and I haven't had anything weird happen so hopefully we're both okay.

Even if there was amniotic fluid the bag of waters can heal if the puncture was small if you relax for a few days with little movement

My water broke and I didn't have any contractions I would for sure get checked out just to be safe.

My water broke with my son at 37 weeks and it didn't hurt, it felt like water coming out of me and not pee but a lot of pressure.. Go get checked!
