How do you tell your partner you have a yeast infection or BV?

I believe I have BV and my partner has a high sex drive like me and he always wants to have sex; but I shy away or try to get out of it bc I have an embarrassing smell in my vaginal area. How do you tell your partner about your situation?

I say honey you are going without for a week I have a yeast infection, deal.  You do know that if you continue having sex with him you can give him the yeast infection don't you?  He might be asymptomatic but he will give it back to you again unless he goes to a doctor to get it cleared up.
