I am a mother of 2, ages 6 and 8 years old and I am 16 weeks pregnant. I have my nipples pierced. Both my kids know about them and honestly they think nothing of it. I got them done about 4 months before I got pregnant with this baby. I was feeling unattractive and self-conscious about my body and especially boobs. My boyfriend/fiancé’s girlfriends before me were so pretty and had pretty bodies. I thought my boobs looked “saggy”, even though my fiancé thought otherwise. So I thought to get them pierced to make me feel better about them. You know, give them a little decoration to them. lol. Of course, I asked what he thought about it first. He said that it’s my body and he thinks that if I wanted them pierced then I should do it. So we went together and he held my hand while I got them pierced. 
So no, I don’t think it’s inappropriate for a mom to have her nipples pierced. If it was inappropriate then so would every other piercing on her body, along with tattoos. 
I don’t judge others for decorating their bodies. If I wasn’t so chicken shit I’d have a lot of tattoos. Which is why I’m surprised that I was able to get my nipples pierced. LMAO.😂

I don't see a problem with it as long as you're done breastfeeding or aren't going to breastfeed at all
