Relationships status

So I've been seeing a guy for a few months now. I do like him and I am bonding with him to get to know him more personally. I am starting to get feelings for him. We both decided to take things slow with each other. But there are things he does a boyfriend would do. For an example, if my phone rings he will be like "who's calling you "? "Is it a guy?" "Let me see who it is?" I have nothing to hide from him what so ever. Since, I really like this guy I am taking things seriously right. But the thing is I think he is doing to much since we're not really together. If he is acting like this then shouldn't we take it to the next level and actually be a couple?? Or I'm I over reacting?? Help me please anyone I need advice!
