Stretchmarks at 11 weeks?!

I am 20 years old and 11 weeks pregnant so I am a young mum and this is my first baby. I haven't been to the doctor/midwife yet as my first appointment is next week. I'm really concerned as my whole tummy is covered in big deep stretch marks already. Is this a sign of twins? I've been applying bio oil day and night ever since I found out at 5 weeks. Help! ):

Unfortunately, stretch marks can't really be prevented as they are mostly genetic. You can try to drink lots of water to keep your skin more hydrated and elastic, but that's about it. Bio oil will help by keeping the surface moisturized but not really prevent them. 😕

I had the same problem early on too. I do use stretch Mark Creams but it doesn't really help to much. But when I read this it helps make me feel better about them

Now that you have the stretch marks you need to use an anti scaring cream like mederma. Also keep using the bio oil to help prevent new ones too, but it won't do a thing for existing ones.
