How often do you have sex?

I've been with my partner for a year and we are 39 and 42 respectively. We dont live together but spend weeks together. We have sex mainly on my instigation as I have a higher a drive and usually it's once or twice a week.

Together 14 years and we still have sex 4-6 times a week!

Been together 14yrs, and at the moment its maybe 4-5 times a month, but they're generally clumped. We go through phases where it has been once a month or less, phases where it's a few times a week, back when we were in our first 2yrs it was nearly every day, sometimes multiple times a day. But back then he was unemployed and i was in college, so we had lots of free time together. I'm sure we would both love to do it more often, but sometimes things get in the way; life, work, bodily functions (period, bad food choice, etc), medication side effects (we dealt with this when he was on an ssri), one or both is too drained mentally and/or physically, schedules don't line up, sometimes he works late and then is up all night doing more work to where our sleep schedules don't line up. Sometimes libido just doesn't line up; when i was 17 and he was 21, we were like rabbits, when i hit my early 20's mine dropped, then in my mid 20's mine was going up as his was starting to drop, and in my late 20's mine skyrocketed while his dropped like a rock (ssri, stress, etc), and now (31 & 35) we are lining back up again. Some of it all was hormonal changes as we aged, some was life changes (jobs or lack of, family, location, etc). Its a nice concept to want to make time, but sometimes things just get in the way...and when sex is 1-2hrs of fun, it's hard to squeeze that in. We have never been able to do quickies, so we always know that if we get into it, it's going to be at least an hour, and sometimes we just don't have that kind of spare time.

Me and my man live together and we have sex almost every other day sometimes we will go and not like all this week we didnt until sat just depends on what kinda day we had or if were in the mood or not sometimes we just like to cuddle and be intimate without sex so it just depends but quite often for the most part!
