Cleaning help?!

Probably not the best place to post but I know you ladies are great! Can you use oven cleaner to clean the top of your cooker? Food has burnt and I’ve tried lots of different products and it won’t budge! Help!

Have you tried Bar Keeper’s Friend powder, Ajax powder, or Comet? Any of those 3 typically work very well for me with a little bit of scrubbing. You might need a straight edge razor to get some of that burnt stuff off.

I turn my eyes on to help the stuck on food get hot and then take a wet dish towel and wipe to remove any stubborn hard stuck food. I cut my eyes off then wait a bit and spray oven cleaner on and let it sit for 1-2 minutes then take a scrapper and lift up the remnants.

If I have some crazy burn on I use regular old oven cleaner, let it sit and it wipes right away so I'd say go for it!
