psoriasis need some advice

Hi everyone! I need some advice about psoriasis. My fiance broke out in a real bad rash type thing. We think it's psoriasis but we are not sure we made a Dr appt. for next week. But until then I wonder what we can do to help with the rash we tried cortisone 10 cream and that has helped some. We also got some anti itch cream from our local pharmacy and that helps the itching. If anyone has some remedies for psoriasis that helped them please let me know anything will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
