Just had a Salpingectomy and D&C, but question though

So I just had a Salpingectomy and D&C on 5/18 for an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured. They removed my tube and I was bleeding into the belly. They also gave me a D&C as well.

I haven't had my period since 4/5, and it is now 6/14 and I just got it this morning. I'm so scared to use a tampon. My doc has cleared me for everything like swimming, working out, sex. I'm just nervous to use a tampon - should I be?
