Had a student teacher conference do see her progress. she is 7 years old. Well the teacher said she knows how to read but thing is she can't be moved up cuz she can't remember what the book was about. Like if the book that she has read over and over she will remember but if it's a new book she isn't able to say what it was about. And when the teacher let's her think about it for a while she'll say an answer but it will have nothing to do with what they are reading. And say they read something now, at that moment she don't remember what it's about but hours maybe even the next day she'll go up to the teacher and say that she knows what it was about or knows the answer to it. Teacher thinks I should consult with her doctor to see if it could be something that needs treatment. Im no doctor but I personally would not want her to be using some type of drugs or something of the sort.
