Condoms in Boyfriend’s wallet

I just found two condoms in my boyfriend’s wallet. We do not use condoms because I am on a pill and have been for like 8 months. I asked why he had two condoms and where the rest of the pack was and he said that he got them in a pubic bathroom and they are for us in case of an emergency. I just don’t know what to do or believe. I asked him why he did not tel me when he got the condoms and he said he didn’t think it was a big deal. I am not one to go through his stuff but i have gotten things from his wallet before and have not seen these condoms in there. I just came across them because i had asked him to get me a kebab and had taken his wallet to get his card and was just checking if he had cash instead and he was next to me the whole time.😭
