EWCM before AF(TMI)

Supposed to start my period this week and when I was washing I wanted to check my CM and so I did and I noticed that I had ALOT of egg white mucus. It wasn't sticky or stretchy but there was a lot of it, enough for me to say "wow that's a lot". I am trying to conceive so I'm not sure if it's a symptom. Last time I was pregnant (ended in MC) I was just wet with clear mucus. I never get this before AF so I don't know what's going on. I week ago I was cramping for about 4 days just sore.. any help?
