PLEASE HELP

Okay so my period was 4 days late and I took this test and it came back positive. The day my period was supposed to start there was only a few drips of brown spotting. The 5th day of my late period I started bleeding. This period was different though. It was like a day and a half of regular period type bleeding and the last 2 days it will go away and come back. Me and my boyfriend were really excited. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it normal? Please help...
