Measuring 2 1/2 weeks ahead?

Question

I went for my 30 weeks appointment and measured 32 1/2 weeks. Baby is still on the smaller side but he’s been measuring 4-5 days ahead. Has anyone had this be accurate? Going for a growth ultra sound in 2 weeks.

When you’re this late in the game the measurement dates are typically so inaccurate. I mean think abiut it. Somenfull term babies are born at 6 pounds and some 9! That’s a 3 pound difference. Genetics has a lot to do with it. The earliest scans are the most accurate because once you approach 12 weeks the baby’s own growth rate starts to kick in and is no longer a typical fetus.
