This boy I liked, he liked me back. Problem was he had a girlfriend. Good thing was that he felt like he and his girlfriend were growing apart. I had a friend ask him if he liked me, he said yes, and would date me if it didn’t work out with his girlfriend. Then, this morning I found out that he broke up with his girlfriend and was going to ask me to be his girlfriend. Since I’m in art magnet, I drew him and me as Rick and Morty characters (we both love the show) and cut it into a heart shape. Before he could ask me in 4th period, I gave him the sketch, went out the door to drink water, came back into the classroom, then hugged him. During class, I locked eyes with him, smiled and made a heart symbol with my hand, which he returned. We walked to lunch together, we hugged while walking, then and held hands, swinging back and forth. I attempted to kiss him on his cheek, but I had to try again since he’s much taller than me. He also gave me a kiss on the cheek and while we waited in the lunch line, we touched foreheads. When we sat down, we played this game on his phone called Dune and he held my finger, pressing it to the screen whenever he had to speed up or dive. We exchanged jackets, and I teased him for looking gay in my sweater, since it was tight on him. At the end of the day (we don’t have the same 6th period) I was at the bottom of the stairs, and I could see him at the end of the hallway. I opened my arms for a hug, then ran at him, he did the same, and we hugged when we reached each other. We gave each other’s jacket’s back, and he said it smelled nice. We walked out of the school, holding hands and when we departed, I kissed him goodbye on his cheek.

I have yet to kiss him on the lips. Should I? Share your own boyfriend-finding stories and when you first kissed. I need some advice.
