I'm pretty sure this is labour!
Starting around 8pm on Sunday night I've been having contractions! By 11pm I was sure that was what they were rather than cramps. At that point they were 7ish minutes apart and lasted about 40 seconds. By 3am they were coming just under every 5 minutes for about 50 seconds and felt stronger.
At that point I rang the birth centre and spoke to the midwife. After she had asked me questions I said I wanted to stay at home as long as possible. She has advised me to wait untill they are strong enough for me to be unable to think of using my app to time them myself and to stay resting in bed in the meantime.
I don't think I will sleep, but my husband is snoring lightly beside me and gave me a nice cuddle earlier before we decided it was too hot.
So I'm waiting!
