10 month old sleep monster

My beautiful, perfect daughter whom I love with all my heart refuses to sleep. It’s like newborn days with less breastfeeding but I’m easily just as tired. She just wants to be held, she wants to sleep with us or on us. I’ll hold her till she falls asleep then as soon as she lays down in the crib the screaming starts. I’ve tried my version of crying it out. The most we made it was 35 minutes and I came in to find a blotchy snot covered mess who was inconsolable for another 3 minutes even holding her. Any other mamas have this issue?
