Which is worse?

So I’ve been talking to this guy for a few weeks and last night I told him that I’m starting to like him. When he saw my message this morning, he didn’t acknowledge what I said last night. So my question is..Which is worse, being rejected or him not acknowledging what I said?

I’m sorry he’s doing this to you, most guys don’t know how to respond to that, especially if it’s a little out of the blue. Don’t send him another text about it. If he still doesn’t respond, confront him about it the next time you see him. 
My advice in general is to never tell a guy you like him over the phone, always do it in person. It makes it more difficult and embarrassing but it’s worth it.

Update: he apologized for not acknowledging it and said it was because he feels the same way but doesn’t really know how to approach it and is scared because he just came out of a relationship
