Anyone have to use progesterone?

My doctor prescribed me progesterone capsules to insert vaginally at night. I have a history of miscarriage so this is a precaution. Has anyone else had to do this? What was your experience? It feels so gross.

I had two miscarriages, got put on progesterone and had my rainbow baby in December. I took the progesterone orally. It made my boobs hurt soooo bad but I think it totally helped in preventing another miscarriage.

I haven't had any blood at all, but some of light brown mucus. Is this normal with progesterone?

See if you can switch to oral pills. Definitely do at night since it will make you sleepy

My doctor prescribed oral progesterone pills as a precaution because I’ve had two previous miscarriages. I was spotting, but I haven’t seen anymore blood since I started the pills. I don’t have any experience with the vaginal suppositories

Yes. You will get used to it. It really helps prevent miscarriage. You can ask for shots instead but hey are more expensive. Congrats!!
