Hi everyone! So i saw my OB/GYN on Thursday for my annual. We discussed the fact that I’m still not pregnant (31 plus 4 year’s tying). She decided that I should try OTC Ovasitol (apparently it’s natural metformin) because another patient with similarities to my case got pregnant after 3-4 weeks of using it.

Bit of background:

I have stage 2 endometriosis and PCOS. I had excision surgery for my endo in May, 2014. She removed approx. 3lb of infected endo tissue, but there was a lot more buried deep. We’ve basically been trying since. I had hysteralpinogram (sp) in 2016 to confirm my tubes are open - they are. Hubby had a sperm test and that was all good, too.

Flash forward:

We finally decided we were going to really hunker down and do this - we aren’t getting any younger and now is the time. So I saw OB on Thursday and this was the result. We are going to try the Ovasitol for 3 months and if that doesn’t work, switch to a high dosage of Chlomid.

I hunted and hunted around for this Ovasitol and no local pharmacies carry it. So I found it on Amazon. There’s a powder and pill form. I got the pill form.

Anyway - was hoping someone else had a similar story or experience with Ovasitol.
