How often should newborns poop?

Hey guys, I had to stop breastfeeding due to liver issues so I had to buy formula. I went with Enfamil and my little one did not like it at all. It made him really gassy so I just switched him to Similac which so far hasn't given him any tummy issues. But the last time he pooped was at 3am this morning. He's 11 days. Is this normal? I'm a FTM. I'm use to him pooping all the time after breastfeeding so not seeing anything is kind of worrying me. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your responses! I officially got what I was looking for lol I woke up to an explosive diaper! My little one managed to roll to his side and leak out a green mess all over my bedsheets 🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂😂 #Welcome2Motherhood

Breastfed babies poop much more often than formula fed. The formula is harder for them to digest, making their poops less frequent. I added formula at 6 months for when I was at school because I couldn’t get hardly anything when I’d pump. He only had one formula bottle a day, but it still slowed down his poops. I freaked out, but the dr told me that it’s totally normal for them to go a few days without pooping, especially in the beginning. If baby goes a couple of days and seems like they’re having discomfort from it, I’d contact your pediatrician. But I wouldn’t worry too much.
