self conscious about my bump

I'm a bit over 15 weeks with my first kiddo, and small overall. (5'1 and thin) when I tell people how far I am they say "Oh you're so small!!" But on one hand I don't feel that small. I can see my bump clear as day, but others can't. but compared to many others I guess I am kind of small. I really want to be excited about my growing belly but afraid of comments on the line of "what belly!?" being thrown my way. And it makes me feel so sad. I don't know how to combat this feeling...
