having a tube removed?!?!

Apparently I have hydrosalpinx on one side and its preventing implantation. in 10 days I'm having surgery to have the tube removed. I'm freaking out! I've never had any kind of surgery before and I'm going to be put completely under.  has anyone else had this done? how bad is recovery?

Mine was actually pretty fast the just the first couple of days you will have some pain in your shoulders because of the gas that they use to fill up your belly

I just had a laparoscopy and a hysteroscopy a week and a half ago. I had never had surgery before and while it wasn’t a bad recovery by any means it was a bit more that I thought it was going to be. The anesthesia really makes you feel pretty groggy and tired for the next few days afterwards so you’ll want to get lots of rest. Stay on top of your meds because while the incision pain isn’t too bad, you will be very sore like you did a bunch of sit ups and push ups. You may need help getting up after laying down and it’ll be uncomfortable to bend over. The shoulder pain from the gas is the worst part. It had me up all night the first night, but it gets better each day. Nausea can be bad too so be prepared with some saltines and stuff like that! Good luck to you!
