Thursday at apt I was 20% effaced and I've had contractions since Friday and all day yesterday were 4-8min apart but not painful. Went to hospital today and was 80% effaced and 1cm dilated! Getting closer!

How long was it for you from 80% to labor labor?

I was walking around at 80% and 2 cm for two weeks with my first pregnancy. I ended up being induced at 41+3. It could just be that your body is ready, but baby isn't. Don't get discouraged if you're wanting your baby sooner.

I walked around at 2&3 cm and 50% effaced for a month before I had my son. It's really on up to baby.!
