I did a modified version at 11 months. If she cried longer than 5 minutes I would pick her up and rock her to sleep. She is 14 months and lays down by herself now.

I did an extremely gentle form of sleep training. Basically stayed by his side until he fell asleep making him comfortable and making sure he felt safe but not picking him up and eventually he would turn over and go straight to sleep. It took about a week.

Only did it like 2 times & then he put himself on a schedule🙂 by 3 months he slept all night and had his 2-3 naps a day💙

Tried it at 5 months. Cutting the night feedings after 12am and comforting when she got all cray cray 😜 
It worked after a week 😄

If my bubs cried longer then 15 mins then I would snuggle n bottle him. It only happened 2x.

I stayed away from the CIO... until my son was 13 months old and my husband was put on medicine that makes him sleep walk and sleep hard. My son Had no problem going to bed by himself but he'd wake around 2am and cry so we'd bring him in with us. The night my husband went on the meds I started it. He cried for 5 mins I went in layed him down have him a binky and did that every 5 mins until he went back to sleep 20 mins later the second night was the same that 3rd night it took 15 mins and the 4th night he cried for a second stopped and didn't it maybe once every 30mins or so. 5th night he slept from 8pm-8am. At 15 months he know sleeps 8pm- 8am and wakes up and plays in his crib with his special toy for sometimes half an hour without calling for us!
I was sooo against it and I literally cried I felt so bad but for his safety he could not bed share with us and we needed a "quick fix" I have twins and catering to a crying Toddler all night and 2 cranky sleepless toddlers was not an option. Those 4 nights broke my heart but I'm thankful now that I caved or Lord knows where'd we be.
