It's the personality I think but now and days most couples have one leg in the pants and everything has to be a compromise honestly.

Relationship should work off both of you working together. A joke I used to say to my dad about my ex in school was ‘he wears the trouser. I just say what type and colour’ 😂 (absolutely is a joke) but yeah should have equal day in things

The pants?? Lol this is 2018... and a person doesn’t gain a parent when they enter a relationship they gain a partner, a companion.
