Late period/negative tests

Hey ladies. So my period is roughly 7 days late and I have had 5 negative pregnancy tests. I’m really starting to worry and wonder if I should be making an appointment with my midwife. It’s not unusual for me to have irregular cycles (they’re usually between 28 days-34 days long) This cycle is 37 days long, the longest one yet. Do you think this is just a cycle irregularity or could I be pregnant?

Does grief affect your period being late? We lost our beloved dog suddenly 3 weeks ago. Not sure if this might have an affect on a late period.

Update: my period ended up showing up 17 days late. I guess grief really did throw my cycle off
