I have recently gotten on birth control (about a week ago) and ive been having severe mood swings. Worse then they ever been. Is it normal? What are your symptoms that you have?

For most women, any side effects go away within the first 3 months so just give it a little time.

I'm lucky that my mood is quite stable, but I did get nauseated and also bloated on my first week, plus engorged and sore breast, it still hurts though but not as bad as it was on the first week, I'm on my 2nd week now. I'm on monthly shot contains progestin & estrogen. What kind of BC are you in? Do you have another symptoms but the mood swing?
