So I’m 16+5 weeks pregnant, and I think I ate something bad. I just threw up a lot, and I had some upper abdominal pain and diarrhea last night. I’ve heard that food poisoning is dangerous to the baby, and now I’m freaking out. Do I need to go to the hospital to get checked? I’m just paranoid. I had a hot Subway sandwich and Taco Bell yesterday. So I’m thinking I’m sick? Help!!!

I just got over food poisoning...fluids fluids fluids. If the diarrhea and vomiting last longer than 24 hours go in. Your baby is fine btw :)

If you're having severe cramping give your doctor a call and they'll probably have you come in just to check, but as long as you can keep pushing fluids you'll probably be fine. If you start bleeding or cant keep even fluids down go to the hospital.

Thanks guys! I ended up going to the OB just to make sure. She had me go get monitored just to be safe. Baby is fine, heart beat was strong. They think it was severe food poisoning, and a UTI. XD
