I am pressed after some family member who feels like they have the say in what I do for my baby, how I raise my baby, my relationships with my dog, and my relationships with my boyfriend. They assume I can’t take care of a dog and a baby and the best option is to get rid of it. No one is giving me the chance to prove them wrong, they just don’t like the idea of a dog living with a newborn baby.

As a dog parent and soon to be mom, I know what I’m capable of and I know my own strengths and limitations and I believe I can handle this along with my boyfriend. It just so stupid she can insert an ignorant opinion on topics she knows little about. My dogs are good dogs, potty trained, a little loud, sheds a lot and somewhat destructive (of their toys), but they’re manageable.

If anyone would like to add some advice on their own experiences with training their dog and taking care of a new baby, please share! Getting rid of my dogs WILL NEVER be an option.
