Not sure if this post belongs here, but I really want to get other’s opinions.

I sent my mom a pic of my 17 year old son and she text back, ‘wow, you’ve lost a lot of weight.’ We live several states apart, but she saw my son on Thanksgiving. So anyway, my son didn’t want to take the picture in the first place, then he hears his nana say that he looks like his mom. So I mute the phone and tell him that nana’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be but he is my child and does resemble me and not to take it to heart. He just started wearing his hair in a bun, which I usually hate on men, but I’m biased and think he actually looks good. What else can I tell my son so he isn’t grossed out by looking like his mom?
