Tips on Curbing Cravings?

Hey everyone! I’m restarting my fitness goals. My heights was 268lbs, and last year I got down to 228lbs, and then I met my boyfriend and we started going out to eat because dating, and yall know how it goes, you give yourself a little permission to have fries “just this once” instead of steamed vegetables and “just a little sip of that coke” and then you’re knee-deep in McDonalds wrappers in your car wondering why those pants you bought in March don’t fit in November. I had been doing really well not drinking soft drinks and choosing salads and grilled chicken before, why in the hell cant I wrap my head around making those choices again? I have my best friends wedding in October, and my other best friend just got engaged and is planning for February 2019, and I have a sneaking suspicion I’m going to join the league of engaged/married ladies shortly as well. I feel beautiful as I am, but I want to feel more confident. My boyfriend and I do little workouts together and try to walk when the weather is nice too. (There’s a planet fitness being put in our town, we’re waiting for it to open so we can do some real work lol)

I know the drink a full glass of water before you eat trick and it sorta works, but I’m wondering if any of you have any tips on ignoring the cheeseburger or chicken parm for a chefs salad or grilled chicken and vegetables? Especially when dating a garbage disposal that barely gains an ounce after thanksgiving stuffing? Lol
