can I be pregnant with an IUD?

So I have had an IUD for the last year and a half. I specifically have the skyla and I have never had a problem with it. the first year I had it I never got a period, then after that for about the last 7 months they have been regular. I am 5 days late for my period so decided to take a test this morning and this is what it looks like? do you think I am actually pregnant or do you think it could just be the hormones from my iud?

If you’ve got a hormonal IUD, it is possible that you’re pregnant. When having this discussion with my doctor she mentioned that there’s still a chance with the hormonal IUD (albeit very small) and basically no chance with a copper or silver IUD.

Oh yeah. False positives are rare. Iuds are not 100% and my friend had a baby with her iud

No birth control is 100%, so it is possible that you are pregnant. I would see your doctor. ❤️
