Just had my egg retrieval, it was not the best experience, and woke up in a lot of pain.

We got 16 eggs, which is a good number, but when I went for my scan on Monday I had 22 follicles.

Any idea what could have happened? Did I ovulate the remaining 6?

11 out of the 16 fertilised!

Also I did some research about this yesterday and found out that yes, sometime the sacs are empty or rather they cannot separate the egg from the sac which suggest some abnormality with the egg
