My mom asked my husband and I what we were planning to name our little girl. We had names picked out for both genders, we found out last Thursday it was a girl! I told her the names we had liked, and she said she only liked one of them and the others are stupid. We have 11 names on that list. I want to have that approval from her, but I don’t want to name my daughter something just because my mom only likes that one. She has a tendency to talk bad about names. She does so to all my nieces and nephews and I don’t want her to do that towards my baby. Should I care what she thinks, or should I do what we want and not think about her?
